Mortgage:

Work with your lender gathering needed documents and lock-in your interest rate. DO NOT APPLY FOR NEW CREDIT LIKE NEW FURNITURE OR CARS.

Contingencies:

Your Realtor will work with you to meet all contract contingency timelines are met. Common contingencies include appraisal, financing, home inspection and more.

Title Company:

Work with title company to provide required information for closing which generally includes your contact information and preferred way of holding title.

Walk-Through:

Usually the day of settlement, you will conduct a final walk-through of the property with your Realtor. This is to confirm condition and that any requested home inspection items were completed. [/su_column]

Settlement:

Meet with title company to review and sign lender, recordation and disclosures to transfer ownership.

Keys:

Congratulations! Upon a completed settlement, you usually get your keys to move into your new home.
